About Core Fitness
What's in a name? The word "core" has been a buzz word in the fitness industry for several years. We believe that starting from the "core" is an important concept. Our basic principals:
- In order to truly have strength and fitness you need to start from the inside out.
- You are only as strong as your weakest link, and for most people the weakest links are their abdominals and lower back.
When working together, the abdominals and low back form the "core." At CORE Fitness, we aim to keep these principals in mind as we work with each individual. Our awareness of and emphasis on training the core musculature in tandem with focusing on Goals such as strength, balance and coordination combine to make a unique training experience.
Who We Are
We are a personal training studio dedicated to making fitness fun, effective and safe for everyone. We believe that everyone is an athlete. Some of you know and practice your sport in a traditional sense. Others are trying to discover their sport. We're here to help you develop your athletic potential.
The owners of CORE Fitness have been in the fitness industry since the 80's. We have learned that motivation is the key to program adherence and that boredom is the #1 killer of motivation. We focus our energies on two areas:
- keeping your program challenging and interesting, and
- forging a strong interpersonal relationship between you and your trainer.
Our Facility
We provide a state-of-the-art facility with the following amenities:
- A dedicated stretching area
- Men's and women's changing rooms and showers
- Treadmills, elliptical trainers, upright and recumbent bikes, stair steppers
- Plyometric training area
- CybexTM and TuffStuffTM circuits
- Ground Zero Free MotionTM
- Complete free weight area
Our Personal Trainers
We are a group of dedicated, over-educated fitness fanatics who live and breathe to
improve the quality of your life through movement. It's a tough job but someone's got
to do it. It's a challenge we love to take.

CORE Fitness is convenientally located in Timonium, Maryland at 7F West Aylesbury Road.
Directions to CORE Fitness
- From I-83, take exit 16B (Timonium Rd. East)
- Make an immediate right on Greenspring Dr.
- Go 1/4 mile, make a left on Business Park Dr.
- Go across the light rail tracks, make a right just past
Baltimore Coffee & Tea
- CORE Fitness is on the left (#7F)
